Disciplines and rules
1 Standing long jump
  • The competition is individual and performed with a takeoff from both feet, standing still.
  • The competitor must take off from the marked line without stepping over it. Swinging the arms before takeoff is allowed, but a running start or a takeoff from one foot is not permitted.
  • Each competitor is entitled to three (3) jumps, and the best result achieved counts toward the final ranking.
  • The jump length is measured from the takeoff line to the nearest mark left by the competitor upon landing.
  • In case of an equal result, the competitor with the better second jump is given preference. If the second result is also equal, the ranking is shared or an additional jump is performed, according to the Chief Judge's decision.
2 Shepherd's staff pull
  • The competition is individual.
  • Competitors sit facing each other on the ground with their legs extended, bracing their feet against one another.
  • Both competitors hold a wooden staff approximately one (1) metre long.
  • The contest begins at the judge's signal.
  • The winner is the competitor who:
    • lifts the opponent off the ground, or
    • pulls the staff out of one or both of the opponent's hands.
  • Not permitted:
    • resting the staff on the ground,
    • throwing the body to the side to gain an advantage,
    • deliberately dropping the staff,
    • unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • The winner of the duel is the competitor who first achieves two wins.
  • The competition is held on a knockout basis.
3 Stone put from the shoulder
  • The competition is individual.
  • A stone of a weight determined by the organizer is used, in accordance with the competitor's category.
  • The competitor puts the stone with one hand from the shoulder, from within the marked throwing area.
  • Stepping over the throwing line before the stone leaves the hand is not permitted. After release, continued movement over the line is allowed, but it must not affect the validity of the throw.
  • Each competitor is entitled to three (3) throws.
  • The three best-placed competitors after the first round earn the right to a fourth throw. The order for the fourth throw is determined by the ranking after the first three rounds, so that the third-placed competitor throws first, followed by the second-placed, with the leader throwing last.
  • The final ranking is based on the longest valid throw recorded across all four attempts.
  • A throw is considered invalid if:
    • the competitor steps over the throwing line;
    • the stone lands outside the marked throwing sector;
    • the competitor does not perform the throw in accordance with the rules of the discipline.
  • In case of an equal best result, the competitor with the better second-best result is given preference. If the second result is also equal, the winner is determined by an additional throw between the tied competitors.
4 Arm wrestling
  • The competition is held on a knockout basis — the losing competitor is eliminated from further competition.
  • Competitors take their position as instructed by the judge.
  • The elbow must remain on the pad throughout the entire match.
  • The free hand must hold the table's grip handle.
  • The match begins on the judge's command: "Ready — Go!"
  • The winner is the competitor who pins the opponent's hand down to the pad.

Not permitted

  • lifting the elbow off the pad,
  • letting go of the grip handle with the free hand,
  • a false start,
  • deliberately breaking the grip,
  • unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Two fouls result in loss of the match.
  • The judge may stop the match if there is a perceived risk of injury. The judge's decision is final.
  • Competitors are paired by draw immediately before the competition begins.
5 Tug of war — adults
  • A team consists of eight (8) members, of whom six (6) compete while two (2) serve as reserves.
  • The competition is held on a rubber surface.
  • The winner of an individual duel is the team that pulls the marker positioned at the centre of the rope at least 1.5 metres past the marked line to its own side.
  • A single pull lasts a maximum of two (2) minutes.
  • If there is no winner within the set time, the judge stops the duel and orders a new pull after a rest.
  • An individual duel is played to two wins.
  • Teams switch sides after each pull.
  • Substitution of competitors between duels is allowed.
  • For safety and equal conditions, the use of cleats or footwear with metal or plastic studs is not permitted.
  • The competition is held on a knockout basis.
  • Teams are paired by draw before the competition begins.
6 Tyre flipping
  • The competition is individual.
  • A tyre weighing 530 kg is used.
  • At the judge's signal, the competitor begins flipping the tyre along a pre-marked track.
  • The tyre must be flipped using the hands only.
  • Not permitted:
    • dragging the tyre;
    • rolling it without a complete flip;
    • assistance from another person;
    • shortening the track.
  • The winner is the competitor who first correctly completes the set section.
  • In case of a large number of entries, the organizer may hold qualifying rounds.
7 Children's sack race
  • Children up to 10 years of age are eligible to compete.
  • The competitor places both feet in a sack and covers the entire race jumping.
  • Leaving the sack is not permitted.
  • If a competitor falls, they may continue from the point of the fall.
  • The winner is the competitor who first correctly crosses the finish line.
8 Tug of war — children
  • Children up to 10 years of age are eligible to compete.
  • A team consists of six (6) competitors.
  • The competition follows the same rules as the adult discipline, using a rope suited to the children's age.
  • The organizer and judges ensure that teams are balanced by age and physical development.
  • The use of cleats or footwear with metal or plastic studs is not permitted.
  • The competition is held on a knockout basis.
9 Children's 100-metre race
  • Children up to 16 years of age are eligible to compete.
  • The race is held over a track of up to 100 m.
  • The start is given at the judge's signal.
